Propeller has achieved the success and created the model we wish for all of our startup customers to follow.  We were more involved with the minimum viable product and early releases, and then as they got funded and built out their team, we transitioned our knowledge and assumed more of an advisory and supportive, as-needed role.  From working on their original Android app and collaborating on the early technical challenges, we consulted on their redesign during a strategic pivot, helped with overflow needs on their redesigned iOS app, advised on and helped them update their Apple Watch app, and helped them integrate other devices into their platforms to meet specific customer needs.

Besides the importance of improving the lives of sufferers of asthma and COPD, Propeller Health is important to the evolution of healthcare technology overall, and in Wisconsin.  They had one of the most Silicon-Valley-like exits in the state, as a technology company being acquired by ResMed for $225 million.  They won the 2018 Wisconsin Innovation Award, which seeks to celebrate and inspire innovation, and highlight the creative spirit from the state’s leading public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
